Caffeine is a diuretic, so it can flush out vitamins if you drink too much green tea. If you do drink quite a bit, take vitamin supplements and drink drinks rich in electrolytes (potassium + salt) like coconut water. Gatorade works, but it has less. Banana is good too.

Billy; it can help if you use damp tea leaves, especially mixed with honey, and rub it onto your skin. Oatmeal also helps to soften your skin. Hope that helps :)

idealy, probably about a quart, give or take a cup, but it also depends on your activities, for those who constantly drink green tea, we tend to be skinnier and more energenic, but we are constantly active.

I drink about 4 - 5 cups of green tea a day, and at the beginning I felt strange but soon my body got used to it!

I lost some weight on two cups, but I've upped my dosage and have gone from weighing 60, to 54kg, while eating probably worse than I was before! Which has been amazing for me, after trying everything to budge those extra pounds.

I take a multivitamin and krill oil pills everyday to make sure my vitamins aren't flushed out. But, found that if I drink it on an empty stomach, I feel quite ill.

Green tea in itself (without the water) is considered a natural diuretic, a subtance that increases the production of urine. Obviously all water-based foods are natural diuretics, and so are coffee and asparagus.

I have heard that green tea extract raises your heart rate, and this is why it burns fat. But isn't this also bad for your heart?
