My partner is traveling to Nigeria suddenly (abt 7th July) what vaccinations does he need, how soon before he leaves does he need to get them, and about how much will this cost as I want him to claim the cost from his employer if its expensive.

Hi to all, you know what i believe is Dodgy, recent trip to South america, told that I must have Yellow fever vacc. have it certified here in oZ that I have had injection, told that without this certification of vacc. i would not be let back in OZ upon return..utter crap and dodgy aa nd MISLEADING!, a fellow traveler did not get yello fevr inj before leaving Oz for South america upon return told at arrivals that if they felt sickly , within next 6 days or so flu like symptoms go see a doctor…..so much for not letting them return to oz! real dodgy stuff inpart to vacc clinics pushing all these vaccs before leving the country!

I am going back to Vietnam again since a year ago when I had all my injections however will I need to have them all again?

Hi I;m just wanting 2 know exactly what injections r needed 2 travel 2 Jakarta Indonesia 4 approx 1 wk only. Unfortunately we hav 2 leave on Tues afternoon so wud there b a risk with having the injections so late. Plz it wud b greatly appreciated if u cud let me know as soon as possible. Thanking u Susan

Hi…

My partner and I are going to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam soon and we took the oral thyphoid tablet Vivotif. We are both sure that we were told to take the tablets with food, so we did take them with a meal, but the packet says to take them on an empty stomach.

We took all 3 tablets as prescribed on the correct days, so the only possible impact would be from taking with food.

Does anyone know if this is OK?

Hi I am visiting Australia in March 2010 and travelling via Kuala Lumpur. We were supposed to only stay in the airport for 2.5 hrs waiting for the connecting flight. this was canceeld and we are now travelling the following day. Which means a 24hr stop in a hotel next to the airport. do you recommend any additional innoculations for this stay.

My wif and I have had Hep A and B and typhoid for trips to Egypt. I am sure our tetanus is up to date also.

Hi my partner and i Have had all shots required as we had visited Vietnam in 2007.
( Hep A and B, malaria, japanese ensephilitis?)
We are going to peru next year, do we have to have all the shots again ie hep a and b malarie jap enseap. yellow fever.
